Self-care

Self-Care

I am a huge advocate for self-care. You have to take care of yourself first before you can truly care for someone else. Like they say on airplanes, put your mask on first before helping someone else. Why? because you can’t help someone effectively if you can’t breathe. Self-care doesn’t mean taking a bubble bath every night. It means doing the things that give you a charge and letting go of the unnecessary things that drain your battery.

Consider you start your day with 100% charge but as time goes on you give little pieces of yourself to work, school, family, friends, etc. As the hours go on that battery is getting low and when it gets too low you become less helpful/effective/happy so it’s time to recharge. I can help teach how to recharge your battery and practice self-care throughout the day.
